Omega nutrition center is a masticating-style juice extractor. Using a low speed of 80 RPM's results in minimal heat build-up and oxidation promoting healthy enzymes and longer lasting juices. They're designed and engineered for health-conscious individuals who want greater variety in their daily fruit and vegetable juicing routine by having the ability to also juice wheatgrass and leafy greens. Not just for juicing, they turn nuts into nut butter, extrude pasta, grind coffee and spices, mince herbs and garlic, make baby food, and whip up soy milk in a flash. They don't clog, foam or build up hear, for the most nutritious drinks and snacks you'll make for your family.
Another Win For OmegaReviewed by J Keistler, 2010-03-07
I have been juicing since buying an Acme and a Champion in the 70's
(still have them!). I own over a dozen juicers in different types,
and bought this Omega specifically for its leafy green
capabilities. In a year-plus of ownership, and hundreds of uses, it
has proven to be a great kitchen companion. It handles all the
leafy greens very well, it is relatively quiet compared to
centrifugals, and I certainly don't find it difficult to
clean.
However, before buying a juicer of this type, I'd recommend the
shopper analyze what they are going to want to juice. Though this
Omega can certainly do carrots, apples, pears, etc., a good
centrifugal can do it easier and with greater yield. However, they
do a lousy job at best with the leafy greens that can provide so
much living nutrition. As always, there is no one juicer that does
great for all uses.
I bought this 8003 (I wanted white) before the 8006 with that new
auger. I wouldn't have spent the extra money for that, anyway, it's
not necessary. I say take that difference in price and apply it
toward a good little centrifugal, like the Omega O2 or L'Equip
Mini, and have optimal juicing no matter what your taste!

I just recently got into juicing and was using an old Cuisinart centrifugal juicer but greens and tomatoes didn't process well, cleanup was a pain and the ejected pulp was moist, I figured if I was going to be juicing for my health then I had better get me a juicer that was going to be easy to use and easier to clean and processed everything well, did my research and found the Omega J8003 to have some of the highest user ratings here on Amazon. Just got my Omega J8003 yesterday so I cleaned it and got it ready to use this morning, turned it on and was amazed as to how quiet it is, it definitely juices better than my old one, takes about the same amount of time to juice but cleanup time is reduced, walking the produce aisle in the supermarket will never be the same again. LOL
Best juicer on the market for the money...Reviewed by Lisa A. Felice, 2010-02-17
I have been using this juicer for 3 months now, and I have been impressed with the ease of use and clean up. It is also very quite compared to most other centrifugal juicers. When I juice, I can actually carry on a conversation, or still listen to the radio or TV. Clean up is very easy, and there are a there are creases that have built up from the previous use. I recommend this juicer highly.
A Good BuyReviewed by Heather, 2010-02-09
Takes 2 seconds to put it together and to clean. It's quiet and does what is advertized. I'm happy with it.
California Juicer Says GOReviewed by Thousand Oaks Mower, 2010-01-31
This is an industrial grade juicer for those serious about the benefits of juicing your own fruits and vegetables. A breeze to use and clean. Separates juice and pulp. It all comes sown to "you get what you pay for". This juicer is worth the extra bucks if you want a reliable product that will not only juice but also create your own fresh pasta.
