I planted mine about two weeks ago and three out of four of the seed pots are sprouting nicely. The fourth is just barely germinating. This after accidentally leaving the pots on my porch in a rain storm which flooded them, and they are still hanging on nicely.
This kit is working well for me and I would recommend it to a casual kitchen gardener or as a gift.
Looks nice, but defective

I bought this item thinking it'd be great for an apartment. Unfortunately, two of the four pots cracked within 2 days of use!!! There is no way to repair them as th plastic seemed to expand and cannot be taped. I was extremely disappointed! I'm going to buy small pots as a replacement, but I wish this wasn't necessary.
